THE ARTIST

Katherine Regan-Slaughter started drawing murals using crayons in her parents' house back in the 1970s. She hasn’t stopped since! Except to pick up some fancy pens along the way...and a few Macs as well.

Kat (as she is better known as) has worked in an array of fascinatingly creative environments producing graphic design in the exhibition, print and packaging industries.

The beginning of this century propelled Kat  into the illustrious world of sole-trading.

For 7 years her studio moniker ‘Patentia’

produced designs and illustrations for advertising campaigns, banners, greeting cards, book jackets, promotional literature and merchandising.

Now branching out as an artist in her own right, Kat is intent on developing her style, drawing (excuse the pun) on experiences, influences and observations in her journey.
